Kevin Clark and Chris Vanderbeek were recently published in the Southern Illinois University Law Journal on the topic of stacking bodily injury limits in Illinois. The article is entitled "When Bodily Injury Limits are Stacked, Jurisprudential Consistency Topples," 36 SIU Law Journal 89 (Fall 2011).

Congratulations to Beth Boggs and Chris Garcia for the summary judgment in favor of the Plaintiff in the declaratory judgment case of Bituminous Casualty Corporation v. United HRB General Contractors, Inc., et al.

Congratulations to Beth Boggs and Lee Karge for the summary judgment on behalf of the Defendants in the case of Bill Cole v. American Family Mutual Insurance Company and Bud Cole Agency.

On May 23-25, 2011, Mr. Keane tried the case of Sjule v. Pope before a jury in Greene County, Missouri. This motor vehicle accident case involved a Plaintiff that underwent an anterior cervical dicectomy with fusion five weeks following the accident. Defendant admitted negligence, but disputed the nature and extent of injuries. The Plaintiff incurred total medical specials of $53,485.72. The jury only took 45 minutes to return a verdict of $1,527.98.

Lisa A. Reynolds has been selected as a Rising Star for the 2011 Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers.

Victor J. Avellino has been selected as a Super Lawyer for 2011 for Missouri and Kansas.
